Fireflies in the Bottle....

“What are you doing?”

“I’m looking for the car key. I lost it.”

“How could you do that? You know we are late. I want to avoid the traffic at the moment. You seem to be so careless!!”

“Can you please shut up? I need to concentrate. I have to unload all these things. I think I left it in my sleeping bag. But I couldn’t find it.”

“What?? You want to unload all these things I arranged just now? No way!!! Let’s find another way. I think it is not in your bag. Check your pocket. It might be there. You are so forgetful. You did it all the times!!”

“Mom, dad!! What are we waiting for? I can’t wait to swim with the fish at the waterfall. And catch the beautiful butterflies. And watch wild birds fly. And go fishing at the river bank. What are you two arguing of?”

“Wait a minute, sweetheart. I’ll check it now. Erm...yeah.. I found it. It’s in my pocket!!! Let’s go now! We are late!”

“Mommy, daddy...come on! I’m tired of waiting for both of you and Bobo. Come in Bobo, sit with me in the car. I can’t wait to see the colourful rainbow on the sky, looking at the sun and watch the stars at night. How wonderful it will be?”

“Yes honey, we are going now. If you are hungry, just take out the sandwiches I made in the bag next to you. There are several bars of chocolates and sweets for you as well. Don’t forget your seatbelt, darling.”

“Alright, mommy. Can I open the window as daddy drives the car? I want some fresh air outside. I wish we could be there before it is getting dark. I want to take pictures of the sceneries at the waterfall. And if you let me, can I go fishing with daddy tonight?”

“Oh yes of course you can, sweetheart. I’ll come with you.”

“Are you not afraid of dark? If yes, you can come with me tonight, love. I’ll bring you to a place where you can see the fireflies hanging on the trees and you can see that the trees there are glowing. The light comes from the fireflies. It is really beautiful. You will love it.”
